New 4-Axis & 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining

Call JMR Systems, the GibbsCAM New England & New York experts: 888-228-6430

The new 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining module allows users to program parts which require 5-axis simultaneous machining.  GibbsCAM 5-Axis can be used with GibbsCAM Milling, standard Mill/Turn, or with GibbsCAM MTM modules – wherever your CNC supports simultaneous 5 axis motion.  GibbsCAM 5-Axis makes programming complex mold, tool and die shapes easier than other systems and provides full Swarf cutting toolpaths.

Who could benefit from GibbsCAM 5-Axis?

If your company is making:

Mold, Tool & Die Oriented Parts, Turbine Blades, Propellers, Impellers or Engine Block Parts, Structural Aerospace parts such as: struts, fuselage components, galley parts and more, then GibbsCAM 5-Axis can improve your programming.

Many new MTM machines include 5-axis simultaneous capabilities. GibbsCAM 5-Axis in conjunction with GibbsCAM MTM modules provides an excellent solution for these machines.

Generate true 5-Axis toolpath on multiple solids, surfaces and curves.

Machining can be controlled with adjustable surfaces or consigned areas

GibbsCAM 4-Axis Simultaneous Machining can program parts which are simultaneously driven on one rotary axis.  It also supports Y-axis off-center milling for radial prismatic parts

GibbsCAM 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining programs parts with two rotary axes

NEW MTM Machine Simulation –

GibbsCAM MTM Machine Simulation for Multi-Tasking Machines

With MTM Machine Simulation GibbsCAM customers can simulate their complex tool motions in order to verify their process.  MTM Machine Simulation is a very important tool that employs software to protect your large investment by avoiding costly crashes and improving your complex processes.

  • Check the rotation points of the turret(s)
  • Locate and visualize the tail stock and, or sub spindle
  • Create Tool Groups
  • Set accurate Turret positions, steps and angles
  • Use the Component Groups so that they can be gouge- checked against each other or used as a script file.

GibbsCAM 4-Axis and 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining Provides Powerfully Simple

easy-to-use Interface with flexibility and robust features.
